Your main tasks

Our CNC Programmer will reside in the Internal Manufacturing department and oversee CNC programming for the department.
You will be responsible for developing programs for fabricated components, ensuring they meet delivery and quality standards for Internal Manufacturing orders, and uphold and promote company goals, values, and operating principles.

                                
Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drawing Review: Identify and rectify issues with drawings in collaboration with Engineers.
  • Cost-Effective Solutions: Propose efficient machining solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Enhance skills to improve manufacturing time and cost.
  • Flexibility and Organization: Maintain high organization and confidentiality while managing diverse tasks.
  • CNC Programming Expertise: Advanced knowledge of CNC programming and machining.
  • File Management: Manage CNC programming file structure for the department.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensure precision in all tasks.
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Thrive in a dynamic work setting.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities and numerical aptitude.
  • Workplace Safety: Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Fabrication: Create parts as per drawings when necessary.

  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Manager.

Requirements
Employment Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must have a valid state driver’s license.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Professional & Technical Education

  • High School Diploma.

Other Job-Related Experience or Requirements

  • Availability to work overtime.
  • Willingness to work off-shift hours and holidays.
  • 5+ years of setup and machining experience with CNC 3-axis mills.
  • 3+ years of experience with MasterCAM programming or equivalent CAM software.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience supporting 5-axis machining and MasterCAM programming.
