In this function, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organization to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, improve quality and increase final customer satisfaction. This role involves analyzing current operational processes, identifying inefficiencies, implementing sustainable actions (corrective/preventive) to optimize performance. On top, this role involves the leadership of the Quality Control Function, aimed to identify and report all non-quality events, identify action plans to improve the NC rate and maintain a proper monitoring process for NC.
Your main tasks
- Identify and Implement Process Improvements: Analyze and improve processes across various functions within the Manufacturing & Supply Chain Department, such as Warehouse & Logistics, Internal Machining, Purchasing, Production Planning, Manufacturing Methodology.
- Project Management: Lead and manage cross-functional projects aimed at optimizing operations and improving process efficiency.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance metrics and dashboards to monitor operational performance and make necessary adjustments.
- Training and Guidance: Provide training and support to teams on new processes and improvement opportunities. Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for the main processes within the department.
- Change Management: Facilitate change management initiatives to support operational and company-wide improvements.
- Compliance: Ensure all processes comply with applicable laws, regulations, and operational standards.
Your profile
- Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Proven experience in operations management, with a strong understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Lean Six Sigma certification is an asset).
- Deep knowledge of Process Improvement tools and methodologies (Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC).
- Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, project management and highly methodological approach
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulatory standards and requirements is an asset.
- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, direct and indirect reports.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Capacity of building organizational relationships.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project and SAP is a strong asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft package tools (Excel, Access, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint).
- Very good level in French, English and German (spoken and written).
