Your main tasks

The Logistics Specialist is responsible for the packing and shipment of all projects, both nationally and internationally. They assist with daily shipping and receiving tasks and collaborate with all internal departments to support company goals, values, and philosophy.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and order packing supplies.
  • Manage domestic and international large shipments with project teams and shipping companies.
  • Receive and verify incoming parts from suppliers.
  • Count and match deliveries to packing slips.
  • Compare packing slips to purchase orders.
  • Record entries into the ERP system.
  • Load and unload equipment from trucks.
  • Inspect, accept, or reject inbound shipments.
  • Communicate and coordinate with buyers for product returns/repairs.
  • Label incoming parts and allocate them to designated locations.
  • Deliver products to appropriate personnel.
  • Package and ship UPS small package orders, both domestic and international.
  • Track all items delivered until released to project teams.
  • Ensure outgoing shipments are accurate, safely packed, and tracked to their destination.
  • Maintain accurate records.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Professional & Technical Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.

Work Environment

  • Heavy work: occasionally lift up to 100 pounds with assistance, frequently up to 50 pounds, and constantly up to 20 pounds.
  • Essential physical requirements include kneeling, standing, pulling, grasping, crouching, walking, lifting, reaching, pushing, repetitive motions, and talking.
  • Exposure to noise, extreme temperatures, chemicals, and other hazards in a production facility environment.
